Spring had finally gathered enough guts to show up in Estonia. It was a warm and sunny day on 7th May in Noarootsi Parish. Perfect for a 6h adventure in mud, bogs, marshes, sandy pine forests along the coastline and lots of fresh air. Our three member team was same as in autumn’s Werewolf’s footprint in Padise. This time preparation was faster, we had more experience on which points would be worth of a visit and which not. Did I mention the sun was shining :D

Tele2 Estonia is switching to their new look tommorrow. This includes clothes, web, e-store and more. Lots of changes happening. As usual with projects of this scale, there’s never enough time to complete everything. Last week I was invited to join the web team in Tele2 Estonia to help them get the new site ready for launch tonight.

Werewolf’s footprint (Libahundi jälg) was an adventure-rogaine on 23. october. Duration was max. six hours. From aerial perspective maximum distance between all CP’s is 40km. A superb chance to spend the whole day in nature. For this event, we assembled the same awesome team, that endured the Winter Xdream last January in a freezing -29C° temperature. There we traveled 30km in knee deep snow in 6h15m. We knew we would get along well for six hours :) Continue Reading »

I’ve been off blogging for many months. Since I mainly blog about sporting events, I’ll reveal the reason now – I injured my knee in July and forced myself not to run for two months. Just to have enough time to really heal it. I started running again in late September. For the two months I replaced running with cycling and swimming. I have to say, my running form did not get hurt as much as I thought it would. Eilsel Tallinna teisipäevakul oli taaskord oodata gigantide heitlust – Hillar ja Andrus jõudsid pea kaheaastase pausi järel lõpuks ometi ühel ajal samale o-rajale. Kavas oli M21B seitsmekildine jooksukas ning vastase mutta surumine. Selles mõttes, et tuli näidata oma paremust. :P Continue Reading »
Pool liitrit vett läks nagu kerisele finišeerimise järel. Ma olin tõesti väsinud: 20°C leitsak ja tugevalt reljeefne Jõulumäe maastik imesid kõik mahlad välja. No rada oli ka kirjade järgi lausa 8.6km, pikalt rassimist. Ma ei ole sellise reljeefiga pea üldse kokku puutunud. Teist korda elus, eelmise reljeefilaksu sain Rannametsa päevakul. Kaks imelikku viga tegin ja mitmes kohas oleks saanud etapi lühemalt võtta, kuid üldjoontes jäin seekord orienteerumise osaga rahule. Seekord ei jäänud rahule, et ma joosta ei jaksanud. Üleeilne tugev trenn ja rattasõit päevakule jätsid jalgadesse oma jälje ikkagi. Continue Reading »
